The much anticipated (especially for this author) eBook version of Hermit: The Mysterious Life of Jim Whyte is now available in a Kindle version, which can be read on desktop and laptop computers, as well as mobile phones and tablets through its Kindle Reader and app.
Members of Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited can read the book free.
Would love to read your Hermit book and would gladly pay for it, but am not an Amazon fan, as they are indeed becoming a monopoly, overcharging for many products. Is there another way to get a hard copy? I live in NYC, but have friends in ME.
Hi Mary – Thank you for your interest in Hermit. I completely understand your position on Amazon. I published with a small Maine publisher and it’s tough to get national distribution without going that route. The good news is that my book is available:
1. Directly from me (https://www.jeffryanauthor.com/store-2/Hermit-The-Mysterious-Life-of-Jim-Whyte-p138150044)
2. Through local bookstores. Just ask for ISBN ISBN-10 : 1633811883 or ISBN-13 : 978-1633811881).
3. Sherman’s Books in Maine is a wonderful local store chain (4 stores) that has been very supportive of me and other Maine authors. If you call them, they would be glad to ship to you. Just call (207) 773-4100.
4. One final option is to order directly from my publisher, Maine Authors Publishing (https://maineauthorspublishing.com/hermit/)
Thank you so much for your interest in “Hermit”. His connection to NYC is also a fascinating part of the tale.
